The Importance
of Self-Esteem
Overview
To
educate participants of the importance of self-esteem and the impact it has on
the development of young children. Participants will also gain insight on
identifying signs of low self-esteem within the classroom environment and be
provided with tools to help counteract low self-esteem within children.
Learning Objectives
After
taking this training, participants will:
- Workshop attendees will gain a broader perspective of how healthy self-esteem instilled within a child at a young age is essential to their development into constructive adults.
- Workshop attendees will learn the subtle and subliminal methods in which a child's self-esteem can be negatively affected, and how to prevent such an occurrence.
